Hi everyone!

The apple event has ended now and i will give you a quick rundown - in order of mention - on the main features.

1. HDR Photos
when you take a photo it takes three in rapid succession. One normal exposure, one that's under and one that's overexposed. It combines them to make an HDR photo. Apple keeps the normal and HDR photo in the camera roll.

2. Game Center
Challenge friends or random people on your favourite games.

3. iPad wireless Printing and Airplay
iPad will have the option to wireless print in a multitasking mode. Stream audio, videos and photos to other devices via wifi

4. NEW IPOD DESIGNS - THE BIGGEST CHANGE EVER.

SHUFFLE
The new shuffle is seeing a return of the buttons that were missed in the last shuffle. The new Shuffle is square and tiny, much smaller than the last one. It has a clip, speakable playlists, Genius mixes and VoiceOver to tell you what song or artist you're listening to. 15 hours of battery. Comes in five colors: blue, pink, green, orange and silver. The US price is $49 for a 2GB

 NANO
The new iPod Nano has done away with the clickwheel and is now just a square touchscreen. It features multitouch and comes with a clip on it like the shuffle. Has FM radio, Nike Plus, pedometer and 29 languages. 24-hour battery life. Also features accelerometer. The Nano comes in seven colors, including a
Red version. US Prices $149 for 8GB, $179 for 16GB

IPOD TOUCH
The all new iPod touch has some long awaited features. Retina display, 3 axis gyro, Front and back camera with FaceTime, edit movies with iMovie app, HD video on rear camera and 40 hours of battery whilst playing music. Three models: 8GB for $229, 32GB for $299, and 64Gb for $399.

5. New iTunes
iTunes 10  features ping, a social network where you can share your musical tastes, chat with artists and check what your friends are listening to.

6. Apple TV
The new apple TV is palm sized, with wifi and its own power supply. You don't need to sync, just stream from all your devices. You can get content from all these services...

5 Free iPhone Games

Just some pretty cool iPhone games... (in no particular order)

1. Eliminate Pro
This is by far my favourite iPhone game. It's a first person shooter, but you connect via wifi or 3G and play with opponents from around the world. It is very similar to Halo, with futuristic weapons and armour.

2. Froggy Jump
This is similar to doodle jump but with lots more exciting features like "gems" - you collect gems and then redeem them for cool power ups in the shop. Also you can unlock themes and other things which enable special powers and game modes.

 3. Tesla Wars
Tesla Wars is a tower defence game with lots of towers and upgrades. It has plenty of game modes and its definately worth downloading

4. Real Racing GTI
This game is just a "demo" and only uses the Volkswagen GTI and a few tracks, however it is worth downloading just to experience the amazing graphics and controls.

5. NinJump
A very simple little game. Basically you are running up walls dodging other ninjas and things, and the higher you get the better your score. Very simple, yet very addictive!

Thanks for reading,

Josh
